Job Description Carpentry Techniciann n Location: East London Salary: £26,020 – £30,912 per annum Contract: Permanent, Full Time n Are you an experienced Carpenter or Joiner looking for a role where you can use your industry skills to support the next generation of tradespeople? n nThe Rolen n As Carpentry Technician, you will: n n Support lecturers with the preparation and delivery of practical lessons. n Assist learners across different levels to develop their carpentry skills. n Maintain carpentry workshops, tools and equipment to a high standard. n Support the safe and effective use of workshop facilities. n Provide guidance and encouragement to learners during practical activities. n Help ensure health and safety procedures are followed across the workshop. n Support learners working towards further study, employment and apprenticeships. n n nWhat We’re Looking Forn n n Relevant industry experience within carpentry. n Strong communication and interpersonal skills. n Ability to motivate and support learners. n Good organisational and IT skills. n A strong understanding of workshop health and safety. n n Previous teaching experience is not essential .
