A well-established and highly regarded independent accountancy practice is seeking to appoint a Personal Tax professional to join its growing tax team. The firm has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality advisory and compliance services to a varied portfolio of private clients, business owners, directors and high-net-worth individuals.

Your New Role

n

Working as part of an experienced tax team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.

n Key responsibilities will include:

n

• Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment tax returns.

n

• Managing personal tax compliance deadlines and ensuring timely submissions.

n

• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and responding to tax-related queries.

n

• Assisting with tax planning projects for individuals, business owners and directors.

n

• Reviewing tax computations and returns where appropriate.

n

• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.

n

• Supporting senior colleagues with ad-hoc advisory assignments.

n

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

n

n

The level of responsibility will be tailored according to your experience.

What You'll Need to Succeed

n

n
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment.

n

• Strong personal tax compliance experience.

n

• Experience preparing Self-Assessment tax returns for a wide range of clients.

n

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

n

• The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team.

n
