Lead Linux Desktop Engineer (Open Source, Rust)

Proton is seeking a skilled Linux desktop engineer to build the Proton Drive client for Linux from scratch. You will work alongside Windows and Mac engineers to ensure parity, contribute to the cross-platform SDK and CLI tooling, and own the Linux distribution pipelines.

You have 5+ years in Linux desktop development (GUI and CLI), strong Git and CI/CD experience, and a track record in open-source Linux packaging. A hands-on, office-first culture awaits the right candidate.
