Associate Validation Engineer

Overview

In this role you support planning, coordinating, and executing validation activities across customer, facility, and research projects within a highly regulated healthcare environment. You collaborate with operations, engineering, quality, and customers to ensure timely, compliant validation programmes. Responsibilities

• Review validation and test protocols for feasibility and regulatory compliance
• Prepare and support development of validation protocols, reports, and technical docs
• Coordinate and execute validation studies (scheduling, processing runs, testing, sample management)
• Collect, organize and analyze validation data for project objectives and regulatory requirements
• Prepare validation work instructions for validation, production, and lab personnel
• Support calibration activities and annual equipment requalification
• Perform hands-on validation activities in operational areas (handling materials, samples, equipment)
• Maintain accurate, compliant validation records and update statuses in systems
• Assist with validation investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for equipment qualification
• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to ensure project delivery

Key requirements

• Experience in a regulated industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, Healthcare or Sterilisation Services)
• Experience writing and executing validation protocols
• Ability to handle practical/physical aspects of the role in operational areas
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good IT skills including data analysis and report writing
