Skilled Careers is recruiting reliable, experienced Banksman for construction site opportunities in Ashford.

Are you switched on, safety-focused and confident working around vehicles and heavy plant We want hardworking Banksman who can keep site operations moving safely and efficiently.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Directing vehicles and plant machinery safely around site.
• Assisting drivers with reversing and manoeuvring.
• Communicating clearly with drivers and site personnel using authorised signals and agreed procedures.
• Monitoring working areas for hazards and reporting concerns to site management.
• Helping maintain safe exclusion zones and pedestrian segregation.
• Following site traffic management plans and health and safety procedures.
• Staying alert and ensuring vehicle movements only proceed when safe.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Previous Banksman, Traffic Marshal or similar site experience.
• Relevant Banksman training or certification preferred, subject to site requirements.
• CSCS card preferred, but not essential where site requirements permit.
• Strong communication skills and excellent awareness of your surroundings.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Your own reliable transport to and from site.
• Full UK driving licence preferred, but not essential.
• Right to work in the UK and any required site checks.
