Veterinary Surgeon

• Conduct consultations, examinations and diagnostics
• Perform routine and non-routine surgical procedures

• Maintain accurate clinical recordstrue clinical autonomy, a varied caseload, and a rota that offers substantial time off while maintaining full-time earnings. The successful candidate will replace one of two Veterinary Surgeons working within an established

2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off rota, with flexibility around a similar full-time pattern for the right person. Please note this is not a part-time opportunity. The practice is particularly keen to hear from Veterinary Surgeons who are confident in surgery, especially those comfortable performing caesarean sections, which form a regular part of the caseload. This role requires someone who is comfortable working completely sole charge, able to make sound clinical decisions independently, and confident managing both routine and more complex surgical cases.

Applicants should have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ UK small animal experience
• Confidence working sole charge
• Strong surgical confidence, particularly with routine procedures and c-sections
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• A calm, adaptable and team-oriented approach
• Strong communication and client care abilities
• Commitment to delivering high clinical standards and continuity of care, Minimum 2 years’ UK small animal practice experience preferred.
