Test Systems Team Leader

Overview

In this role you lead a multidisciplinary test systems team to design, integrate and validate test solutions for displays, controls and mission computers. You’ll manage cross-functional engineering activities across hardware, software and systems, reporting progress and risks while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll mentor talent and drive improvements in test equipment integration and real-time system testing. Responsibilities

• Track and report project cost and schedule using Jira and Confluence
• Coordinate test equipment integration, analysis, and testing of real-time multidisciplinary systems
• Identify, resolve and close issues across product lifecycle with leads and other disciplines
• Provide realistic programme status updates (progress, earned value, time) and implement recovery plans when needed
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to capture and maintain requirements
• Coach, mentor and nurture team members

Key requirements

• Experience in an engineering environment managing a multidisciplined team (hardware, software, systems)
• Extensive experience in engineering lifecycle
• Experience in stakeholder and subcontractor management
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders including customers, suppliers and sub-contractors
