Salary: £28,000 per annumHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm (flexibility may be considered)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and organised Recruiter to join our People Team and play a key role in attracting, selecting and onboarding talented colleagues across our retail and operational functions.

About the Role
As Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, helping us attract and hire the very best talent across our bakery shops and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing vacancies from advertising through to onboarding
- Creating and posting job adverts using our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Screening applications and shortlisting candidates
- Conducting first-stage interviews and assessing suitability
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers across the business
- Maintaining recruitment records and reporting information
- Ensuring compliance with recruitment and onboarding procedures
- Representing Bayne’s at recruitment events, job fairs and open days
- Travelling across our retail network to support local hiring activity
About You
We’re looking for someone who can deliver an excellent candidate experience while supporting managers to make great hiring decisions.
You’ll have:
- Previous recruitment experience, either in-house or within an agency environment
- Strong communication and interviewing skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
- Experience managing multiple vacancies simultaneously
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and screening processes
- A proactive, professional and people-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
