Join Our Transport Team and Keep Our Growing Fleet On The Road!nnnWe're looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our in-house workshop team and help keep our fleet of over 140 commercial and refrigerated vehicles on the road.nnnIf you enjoy getting stuck into diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance, and take pride in keeping vehicles safe, compliant and running at their best, we'd love to hear from you.nnnThis is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be working across a varied fleet, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, completing inspections and helping minimise vehicle downtime.nnnWhat You'll Be DoingnnnServicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and refrigerated vehiclesnnDiagnosing mechanical, electrical and technical faultsnnCarrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs)nnPreparing vehicles for MOT inspectionsnnEnsuring vehicles meet DVSA standards and remain roadworthynnWorking with external repair providers when specialist work is requirednnKeeping accurate maintenance, inspection and compliance recordsnnHelping identify ways to improve fleet reliability and workshop efficiencynnnWhat We're Looking FornnnYou'll be an experienced mechanic who can work independently, solve problems and take ownership of keeping vehicles in top condition.nnnYou'll ideally have:nnnNVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent vehicle maintenance qualificationnnExperience maintaining and repairing commercial vehiclesnnExperience carrying out PMI inspectionsnnA good understanding of DVSA requirements and vehicle maintenance standardsnnExperience working on refrigerated vehiclesnnStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsnnA full UK driving licencennA proactive approach to safety, quality and compliancennnIt Would Be Great If You Also HavennnHGV Class 1 or Class 2 licencennMOT Tester qualificationnnnWhy Join Us?nnnThis is an opportunity to be part of a growing transport operation where your skills make a real difference every day.
