Fullstack Engineer

Overview

In this role, you design and build the product end-to-end, from database to UI, for an AI-driven platform serving investment teams. You work in a small, senior London team with direct leadership access to deliver secure, multi-tenant features and trusted AI-enabled capabilities. You’ll shape data-heavy interfaces, REST APIs and real-time interactions, while ensuring auditability and compliance. This is a hands-on, impact-focused opportunity to influence product direction in a regulated financial context.

Responsibilities

• Build data-heavy interfaces in TypeScript and React with role-based access
• Design services and REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django) with OpenAPI contracts
• Model data in PostgreSQL including multi-tenant isolation
• Develop event-driven and real-time features via WebSockets
• Implement SSO, OTP, session/JWT auth; integrate with Microsoft 365 and CRMs
• Collaborate with AI/ML team to ship LLM-powered features with provenance and approval flows
• Operate on AWS with CI/CD, observability, and SOC 2 / UK GDPR awareness

Key requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering with full-stack ownership
• Strong TypeScript, React, Python and PostgreSQL
• Auth and access control experience in multi-tenant B2B products
• AWS, CI/CD and containers
• Track record of setting technical direction and leading architecture decisions
• Daily use of AI coding tools and a thoughtful view on their value
