Overview

In this salaried GP role, you provide primary medical care to patients across all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment. You will work within an experienced team at Lees Medical Practice and The Jalal Practice, contributing to a patient-centred care model and a robust triage system. You’ll handle wide-ranging clinical duties and collaborate with specialists to ensure safe, thorough care. This role offers multisite coverage across two local practices, with a strong emphasis on quality and standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations and taking medical histories
• Diagnose and treat health conditions
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Provide ongoing monitoring and care for chronic conditions
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
• Collaborate with specialists when necessary for patient care

Key requirements

• Qualified GP with experience in primary care
• Current UK professional registration
• Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• Experience in senior care and patient care
• Familiarity with home care, ICU or hospice settings
• Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
• Experience in nursing home or public health environments
