Senior Salesforce Engineer

Overview

In this Salesforce-focused role, you will design, develop, and optimize Salesforce solutions to support wealth management workflows. You’ll translate business needs into scalable technical designs, build integrations with internal and third-party systems, and uphold security and deployment best practices. You’ll troubleshoot complex issues, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve delivery and governance. Responsibilities

• Design and develop Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow and platform APIs
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and internal or third-party systems
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, balancing usability, maintainability and platform limits
• Apply Salesforce security best practices, including sharing, permissions and Lightning Web Security
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes
• Improve deployment pipelines, release practices and monitoring
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with architects, administrators, product owners and other stakeholders
• Adhere to Information Security Policies
• Completing other duties as directed
• Occasional work outside normal hours (weekends, evenings, holidays)

Key requirements

• Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II)
• Familiar with declarative development tools (Validation Rules, Process Builders, Flows)
• Familiar with Apex, Aura, and LWC
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (Salesforce tools and other platforms)
• Financial Services experience
• Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication, and time-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 5+ years of Salesforce experience
• Experience with Jira
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD and Test Automation
