Contract Video Editor

Express Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a creative organisation who work with a diverse range of clients, they are looking for a Video Editor to join their rapidly growing team.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and be competent in graphic design, motion design, animation and Adobe After Effects or similar. The role is offered on an initial temporary basis, and applicants must have a portfolio where past successes are showcased.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a video editor and a portfolio showcasing previous work
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Davinci Resolve or similar tools
• Understanding of post-production techniques, including colour correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, file compression
• Ability to edit long, mid and short content for distribution on many platforms
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in work across all projects

Roles & Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, visually appealing videos that align with client guidelines and objectives
• Deliver creative solutions that exceed expectations and work closely with our team to understand project requirements
• Incorporate graphics, effects, and animations to enhance the overall quality of videos
• Discover and implement new editing techniques whilst keeping up to date with industry trends
• Prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

c£19.50 per hour D.O.E
