Principal Lunchtime Supervisor (Priory School)

Overview

In this role you supervise students during the lunch period to ensure safety and welfare. The position is part-time, 5 hours weekly during term-time, with flexible day selection. You work within a school committed to safeguarding and a supportive pastoral culture. This is an important, stable role in a well-regarded school, contributing to students’ well-being and smooth lunchtime operations. You will align with school policies and safeguarding expectations to support a positive school day.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime (13:00–14:00) on a school day
• Ensure safety, behavior management, and welfare during lunch
• Coordinate with school staff as needed to support lunchtime routines
• Indicate preferred work days on the application form

Key requirements

• DBS enhanced clearance or willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS/Regulated Activity check
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children
• Availability to work during term-time, 39 weeks plus annual leave
