Lead Electronics Engineer

Overview

As Lead Electronics Engineer you will guide the design and delivery of high-reliability electronic systems across architecture, design, integration, testing and manufacturing. You will mentor multidisciplinary teams and own the full hardware product lifecycle to meet project growth. You’ll drive technical direction in complex projects and collaborate across disciplines to ensure safety, compliance and performance. This role offers a chance to shape critical electronics for high-stakes industries and work with cross-functional teams toward robust, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Guide architecture, design, integration, testing and manufacturing of electronic systems
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Oversee full product lifecycle development for hardware products
• Collaborate across functions to ensure design, verification and manufacturing readiness
• Ensure high-reliability, safety-critical and regulated compliance as part of development

Key requirements

• 13+ years’ experience in hardware product design
• Significant electronics hardware design and development experience
• Mixed-signal, analogue and digital circuit design experience
• PCB design and layout using Altium, Xpedition or similar
• Embedded systems and hardware/software integration knowledge
• Experience in high-reliability, safety-critical or regulated industries
• Understanding of EMC, environmental testing and design assurance processes
• Previous technical leadership, mentoring or project leadership experience
