Job Title: Relief Teaching and Learning Assistant
Location: Holbrook School for Autism, Portway (DE56 0TE) & Whitemoor (DE56 0DB) Sites
Grade/Scale: Derbyshire Support Pay Scale, Grade 7 (Points 8-11), Hourly Rate £14.50 – £15.56
Contract: 0 hours per week, relief only
You will work with 4-19-year-olds with autism and learning disabilities. Duties will include supporting with classroom routines, behaviour and regulation, promoting student independence and assisting with personal care. Reporting to the Class Teacher, applicants should have a positive, flexible approach, enjoy working with children/young people and be able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of working with children and young people with autism, learning difficulties and/or challenging behaviour is desirable but not a necessity.
