Tax Associate (2-5 PQE)

Overview

You join a London Tax team within a corporate-focused platform to advise on domestic and cross-border tax matters for real estate, funds, corporate, energy and infrastructure clients. You will draft structure papers and complex advice, negotiate tax provisions in SPAs and deeds, and run your own matters with client-facing accountability. The role emphasizes business development and building your own network within a globally connected tax practice. Responsibilities

• Draft structure papers and complex tax advice notes
• Draft and negotiate tax provisions in SPAs and tax deeds
• Advise corporate and commercial clients on domestic and cross-border tax matters
• Mange own matters and transactions with direct client interaction
• Engage in business development and build a personal network across the firm

Key requirements

• 2–5 PQE in tax within an international law firm
• Strong drafting, legislative and case law interpretation skills
• Ability to translate technical analysis into strategic client advice
• Commercial mindset with strong interpersonal skills
