Interim Logistics Officer

Rate: Up to £400 per day (Umbrella, inside IR35)

Hybrid, office based 1-2 days p/w onsite (Chippenham, Southwest)

Fulltime, temporary contract role

Contract Length until 03/2027

An Interim Logistics Officer to join a large distribution company in southwest on a temporary basis. We are seeking enthusiastic and Logistics self-starting to collaborate with a wide scope of teams, such as procurement and operations teams to ensure support requirements.

• You will develop and maintain the logistic strategy and plans
• Oversee the entire lifecycle at every stage of the system ensuring support. Ensuring that the system is designed for maintainability, reliability, and supportability.
• Be primary point of contact for Logistics related matters with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
• Logistics Support Analysis
• Define and manage requirements for spares and equipmentand Monitor, manage mitigate issues/risks associated with components
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and contractual requirements.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Note: Due to the sensitive nature of this role, candidates will be required to hold or gain and maintain the necessary level of Security Clearance.
