Responsibilities

• Produce and place International Transportation risks in the London Market
• Develop and maintain overseas client networks and trading partners
• Negotiate with Lloyd’s and company market underwriters
• Generate new business and grow a profitable portfolio
• Manage and expand client relationships over time
• Collaborate with placement team to access insurer relationships

Key requirements

• Experience producing and placing International Transportation risks in the London Market
• Established overseas client and broker network
• Proven track record of new business generation and long-term client relationships
• Experience handling Freight Forwarders Liability, Logistics Operators, Hauliers, Cargo, Warehousekeepers and related exposures
• Solid understanding of London Market placement strategies and insurer appetite
• Strong negotiation skills with Lloyd’s and market underwriters
• Commercial mindset with portfolio growth capability
• Existing book of business or transferable relationships advantageous
