Overview

In this 12-month industrial placement, you join Morrisons’ Estates Management Team to contribute from day one. You’ll work on safeguarding and growing the value of a large multi-site portfolio, including supermarkets, distribution centres, and manufacturing sites. You’ll collaborate with senior estate leaders on asset initiatives, lease negotiations, and financial stewardship to support operations and customer experience. This is a hands-on, business-critical opportunity to influence the property lifecycle at scale.

Responsibilities

• Strategic asset management for 800+ properties
• Commercial negotiation including lease renewals and rent reviews
• Financial oversight with Property Finance on income, costs, service charge budgeting and reconciliation
• Operational management of day-to-day property functions and lease event database
• Drive ad-hoc property projects and cross-functional collaboration
• Maintain data integrity and support property lifecycle activities

Key requirements

• Currently studying Real Estate or closely related degree
• Intermediate Excel proficiency
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive, team-oriented with stakeholder relationship skills
• Experience in data management is a plus
