Head of Accounts – Wilmslow – £40-45k

Venn Group’s specialist finance recruitment team is recruiting a Head of Accounts for a multi-service law firm in Wilmslow. This permanent opportunity offers an excellent next step for an experienced legal cashier looking to take ownership of a finance function.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Acting as the sole member of the Accounts Department
• Reviewing balances
• Posting invoices to the ledger
• Supporting the firm’s conveyancing department
• Utilising the firm’s case management system

About you

• Ideally a minimum 5 years’ legal cashiering / legal finance experience
• Previous conveyancing experience
• Experience using a case management system
• Knowledge of systems such as LawWare or Proclaim would be desirable
• Ability to work independently and manage a standalone finance function
