Role Summary
This role will support a directorate and assist in managing inpatient waiting lists in accordance with the Patient Access Waiting List Policy. Responsibilities include managing teams within a site or section, making direct bookings (minimum hours per week), coordinating multi‑disciplinary Booked Admissions meetings, maintaining information systems, developing and implementing operating procedures, monitoring performance improvement, deputising for the Booked Admissions Manager, providing training, and supporting the project management of various initiatives. The role may also involve financial and personnel administration and dealing with patients and their families. The postholder will be based at Bideford Community Hospital.
