Minibus Driver
The closing date is 29 July 2026
University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust are looking for minibus drivers to join our in‑house team who provide a staff park and ride service across our sites. All applicants must hold a D1 entitlement on their licence.
Bank hours, as needed.
Should you require additional support with completing your application, please contact the Facilities and Estates Recruitment Team via email below:
uhsussex.FandErecruitment@nhs.net
Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. As such, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this post. Applicants will therefore need to already have the right to work in the UK to be considered. We include this information at the outset to provide clarity and avoid unnecessary inconvenience for applicants.
Due to the role not meeting sponsorship, if you are applying using a Graduate visa as your right to work, you must have a minimum of 18 months remaining on your visa at time of application.
Main duties of the job
Currently, the service provides a park and ride service for all Trust‑employed staff between the hours of 6am and 11pm Monday to Friday. Hours are worked on a rotational basis, working 1 week early and then 1 week late shifts.
Additional hours may be required to meet the needs of our hospitals on an as‑and‑when‑required basis.
Drivers will be required to maintain the cleanliness of both the inside and outside of their vehicle and will be required to complete basic maintenance checks and necessary paperwork in line with vehicle compliance policy and procedure.
