Day Care Assistant
Location: Chorley, LancashireService: Astley View Care HomeContract Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: £13.45per hour + Overtime £14.95per hourHours:38.5 hours per week,8am – 8pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:
- Week 1:Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week 2:Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
About the Role:
Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistant (Days)to join the team atAstley View, our state-of-the-art, purpose build, luxurycare home inChorley. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment, across ourbrand new community. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents’ lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team, with plenty of opportunity for development.

Main Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
- Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience (either personal or work-based) withinadult social care
- Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
