General Operative – SMD – Ballykelly
Assist in the fabrication and manufacturing process of switchgear equipment
Operate basic tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Support SMD machine/process operatives in daily tasks
Follow work instructions, drawings, and standard operating procedures
Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Carry out basic inspections and report any issues or defects
Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work area
About the role
Essential
Previous experience in amanufacturing or production environmentis desirable but not essential
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Good work ethic and reliability
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
Desirable
Experience using hand tools or working in an engineering environment
Exposure to assembly or mechanical tasks
Flexibility to work overtime when required
