SeeAbility’s Special Schools Eye Care team in Thames Valley provides expert eye care to children in schools during term time. The optometrist visits the same schools regularly, with occasional coverage of other sites, and receives full specialist training on appointment.

The role is highly autonomous and requires excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and comfort working with children with complex needs in a school setting.
