Finance Systems Manager

Overview

In this role, you will own and operate the finance systems landscape, ensuring robust, efficient and secure processes. You will work closely with Finance, IT and external vendors to deliver upgrades, improve reporting, and maintain data integrity. You will lead system enhancements, provide user training and documentation, and translate business needs into system improvements. This position emphasizes continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration to support informed decision-making. A strong focus on governance, security and stakeholder engagement provides a clear value hook for shaping the finance technology stack.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage day-to-day operation of the finance systems environment
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, reporting and system functionality
• Act as main point of contact between Finance, IT and third-party vendors
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements and testing activities
• Ensure data integrity, governance and security across finance applications
• Support users through training, documentation and issue resolution
• Produce meaningful reporting and insights for business decision-making
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into system improvements

Key requirements

• Proven experience managing finance systems
• Strong understanding of finance processes
• SAP BPC experience is essential
• Experience with other EPM solutions such as Anaplan or OneStream desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience delivering system enhancements, upgrades or process improvements
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
