Location: Halifax

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.71 p/h

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 1pm

Stafflex are looking for a Sewing Machinist on behalf of our client, UK’s leading supplier of bespoke products to the medical industry. If you are a motivated, keen learner with great attention to detail and a great work ethic – this opportunity is for you.

Duties:

• Using an industrial sewing machine
• Using an overlocker
• Maintaining high production standards and quality of products
• Report any faults to the supervisor

Essential Competencies:

• Keen eye for detail
• Positive attitude towards work
• Ability to learn and follow instructions
• Excellent communication
• Reliability

It is advantageous to have industrial sewing machine and overlocker experience, however anybody who has experience using a domestic sewing machine will also be considered as training is provided.
