Insurance Data Consultant

Overview

As a Senior Insurance Data Science Consultant, you apply advanced analytics to influence pricing and risk decisions for multiple lines of business. You will translate complex results for executive stakeholders, build scalable predictive models, and demonstrate the value of Earnix capabilities in client settings. You’ll lead onboarding and act as a trusted advisor, bridging business, analytics, and technology to deliver measurable impact. This role lives at the intersection of pricing strategy, analytics, and client success, with global reach and high visibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing strategy discussions using advanced analytics and actuarial insight to align decisions with business outcomes
• Engage directly with senior executives, translating technical results into clear narratives that drive action
• Build and evolve predictive models to assess risk and forecast demand, shaping pricing and business decisions
• Influence decision-making at the highest levels by linking analytics to business value and strategic priorities
• Demonstrate Earnix capabilities in executive and client settings, articulating what the platform enables
• Lead onboarding and training for new users to ensure fast adoption and time-to-value
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, bridging business, analytics, and technology to deliver measurable impact

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry with deep expertise in analytics, actuarial modeling, and predictive techniques
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and statistical modeling to improve risk and pricing models
• Advanced proficiency in Python and R for building, validating, and deploying scalable analytic solutions
• Experience with intelligent decisioning platforms (such as Earnix or similar) integrating models into real-time pricing and personalization workflows
• Strong executive presence with ability to engage, influence, and advise senior stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally
