Independent Travel Trainer: Empower Youth to Travel Independently

Birmingham City Council’s Children and Young People’s Travel Service (CYPTS) invites applications for an Independent Travel Trainer on a permanent basis. The role supports the statutory duty to provide suitable transport for eligible students and to promote independence through travel training.

Under the Independent Travel Training Lead, you will assess learners, plan journeys, deliver 1:1 training, maintain records, and collaborate with schools to expand skills.
