Job Description:
Mary Lyon Centre at MRC Harwell is looking for a dedicated animal care technician to support husbandry and experimental procedures for mouse colonies. You will ensure clean cages, proper bedding and nutrition, and carry out health checks under Home Office licensing, with careful record keeping.
Responsibilities include maintaining animal room cleanliness, following SOPs and risk assessments, and assisting with genotyping samples.
