Head of Offshore Funds Coverage

Overview

In this role you will lead the Offshore Funds Coverage across Jersey and Guernsey to translate strategy into prioritized actions that drive strong commercial performance and superior client outcomes. You will unite cross-functional teams, deepen key fund sponsor relationships and represent the bank in industry forums, shaping growth in the offshore funds market. You will foster a high-performing, collaborative culture that delivers sustainable origination, portfolio management and exceptional client experience. This is a strategic leadership position with impact across jurisdictions and the broader bank.

Responsibilities

• Lead Funds Coverage teams across Jersey and Guernsey and translate strategy into clear priorities
• Collaborate with Coverage, Product, Credit, Risk, Operations and specialist teams to deliver full bank capabilities
• Foster a high-performing, development-focused team culture centered on performance and customer outcomes
• Drive sustainable growth through disciplined origination, portfolio management and market engagement
• Build and maintain influential networks with fund sponsors, intermediaries and market participants
• Represent RBSI at industry forums and stakeholder groups to enhance reputation
• Incorporate market, regulatory and customer insights into planning and decision-making
• Strengthen leadership capability and succession planning within the Offshore Funds Coverage team

Key requirements

• Proven track record of leading customer-facing teams across multiple jurisdictions
• Ability to operate across diverse markets, stakeholder groups and regulatory environments
• Credibility and influence to represent the bank externally and build senior relationships
• Strong relationship management and origination experience with key customers
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and cross-functional collaboration
• Commercial judgment balanced with risk management discipline
