• Pay Rate: £42 per hour
• Contract: Temporary (Full-Time Hours)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join a team supporting Looked After Children (LAC) and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Looked After Children.
• Complete assessments, care plans, and statutory visits.
• Safeguard children and promote their welfare and best interests.
• Work collaboratively with foster carers, families, and partner agencies.
• Attend reviews, contribute to care proceedings where required, and ensure statutory requirements are met.
• Support children and young people to achieve positive long-term outcomes.

Requirements:

• Recognised Social Work qualification.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Previous experience working with Looked After Children.
• Strong assessment, report-writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work within statutory frameworks.
