Environmental Assessor / Senior Environmental Assessor

Overview

In this role you will perform SHIFT environmental assessments, both desk-based and on client sites, and contribute to consultancy projects. You will maintain client relationships and support business development and planning. Training for SHIFT methods, SECR and ESOS data work will be provided, with occasional national travel and reporting to the Managing Director. The position supports the company’s aim to improve environmental performance in the built environment while highlighting the financial and wellbeing benefits of environmental work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct SHIFT environmental assessments (desk-based and on-site)
• Lead or contribute to consultancy projects related to SHIFT
• Maintain strong client relationships
• Support promotional work and business development
• Assist with business planning and expansion
• Process primary data according to SHIFT methodology and perform calculations
• Support ad hoc activities such as research, blogs, client presentations, and planning

Key requirements

• Degree in Environmental Science (or equivalent)
• GCSE maths
• Working towards or willing to pursue professional qualification (ISEP preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Valid UK driving licence
• Experience in environmental auditing and sales in a consultancy environment (preferred)
• Experience in the built environment sector (preferred)
