Overview

As Supply Chain Director, you will lead BDUK’s end-to-end supply chain, aligning with Boeing Global Services best practice to support three business units. You’ll steer a 250-strong SCM team and oversee relationships with 400+ suppliers and a $300m annual spend, shaping architecture for new programmes and bid inputs. You’ll collaborate across regions and with government stakeholders to sustain capabilities and drive value. Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end supply chain execution across three BDUK business units (Vertical Lift, Fixed Wing, Digital) in line with BGS practices
• Lead the SCM function (≈250 people) to deliver objectives, processes, and tools regionally across SCM planning, asset management, supplier management/procurement, warehousing and distribution
• Manage relationships with >400 suppliers (UK and US) and oversee risk, performance, and growth to support production and new product introductions
• Shape new business through supply chain architecture and capability development for bids and major campaigns
• Govern ERP and related SCM tools, fostering collaboration with Europe, Canada and Latin America (EICLA) and broader Boeing programmes
• Develop regional resources to create sustainable presence and reduce infrastructure costs
• Interface with UK Government, MoD and Department for Business and Trade on supply chain competitiveness
• Represent BDUK SCM in industry groups and promote a One Boeing approach in the supplier network

Key requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in management/leadership in SCM
• Experience managing a diverse and complex business environment (ideally Boeing or similar)
• Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance
