Associate/Senior Associate – Professional Indemnity

Overview

In this role you will support and grow the Professional and Commercial Risk practice in Leeds, handling professional indemnity matters for insurers and insured professionals. You will work closely with partners and international teams to provide strategic advice, manage a caseload, and deliver bespoke solutions. The role combines client-facing work with litigation and pre-action tasks, offering impactful, cross-disciplinary problem solving in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Interact regularly with clients to provide advice and support
• Handle a mixed workload of professional negligence claims across professionals
• Conduct pre-action and litigated matters, offering real-time project support
• Manage your own caseload while supervising junior fee earners and supporting Partners
• Engage in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
• Coordinate with experts and counsel and direct workflow with them
