Pipe Fitter / Welder – Mechanical Installation (9-Month Contract)

• Location: Kidderminster
• Rate: Up to £30 per hour CIS, depending on experience
• Duration: 9-month contract
• Hours: Full-time (site-based)

Marmon Lift Recruitment is working with a well-established mechanical installation company seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter / Welder for a 9-month contract based in Kidderminster.

Pipe Fitter / Welder Responsibilities:

• Carry out pipe fitting and MMA welding within plant rooms.
• Install, assemble and maintain pipework and mechanical systems.
• Complete MMA welding to a high standard.
• Work from technical drawings and specifications.
• Support mechanical installation projects within plant rooms.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Follow all relevant site health and safety procedures.

The Ideal Pipe Fitter / Welder:

• Proven pipe fitting and MMA welding experience – ESSENTIAL.
• Experience working within plant rooms and on mechanical installations – ESSENTIAL.
• Holds a valid CSCS Card – ESSENTIAL.
• Holds a full UK driving licence – ESSENTIAL.
• Takes pride in producing work to a high standard – ESSENTIAL.
• Is reliable, professional and able to work independently and as part of a team – ESSENTIAL.
• Has a strong understanding of health and safety on site – ESSENTIAL.
• Is available for a 9-month contract in Kidderminster – ESSENTIAL.
• Qualifications such as SSSTS, First Aid at Work, G3 Unvented Hot Water, PASMA and IPAF – DESIRABLE.
