Pediatric / Neuromuscular – Medical Director

Overview

In this Medical Director role, you provide medical, scientific, and strategic leadership for clinical trials and serve as the internal medical expert for study reports and regulatory documents. You will contribute to new clinical projects, including study design and protocols, and support cross-functional teams across trial phases. Responsibilities

• Provide medical management and expertise for clinical trials
• Contribute medical input to study reports, regulatory documents, and manuscripts
• Manage safety issues in trials and collaborate with colleagues on evaluation
• Participate in business development through proposals and sponsor meetings
• Coordinate with other departments across feasibility, design, medical information management, and document reviews
• Lead adherence to research protocols and policies

Key requirements

• M.D. or equivalent
• Board certification and current medical licensure are preferred
• Prior clinical trial research experience preferred
• Previous experience in pharma-related clinical research preferred
