People Operations Lead

Overview

In this role you lead a hands-on People Operations team, owning end-to-end lifecycle processes and driving data-driven improvements. You’ll manage people systems, reporting and compensation activities while using automation and AI to simplify workflows. You’ll partner across teams to ensure compliance, onboarding, and offboarding are efficient, with a focus on measurable impact. This is a chance to shape a growing People Ops function within a mission-driven rental platform.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve end-to-end People Operations processes (onboarding through offboarding).
• Manage People systems, data quality and reporting to support decision making.
• Apply automation and AI to reduce manual work and boost efficiency.
• Support reward and benefits activities, including pay reviews and benchmarking.
• Lead and mentor the People Operations Specialist, while maintaining hands-on involvement.

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering hands-on People Operations, including lifecycle processes, HR systems and compliance.
• Strong numeracy and analytical ability with advanced Excel and complex data work.
• Demonstrated track record implementing automation or AI-enabled process improvements.
• Curiosity, judgement and problem-solving mindset to drive continuous improvements.
