Digital Infrastructure Engineer x2

Overview

As a Digital Infrastructure Engineer for Global’s Outdoor Digital Infrastructure team, you’ll help maintain a reliable and evolving digital advertising platform across the UK and Ireland. You’ll translate designs into practical infrastructure, manage incidents and changes, and support live deployments to keep the outdoor estate resilient. You’ll collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and on-site installers to deliver safe, dependable solutions. This role offers hands-on impact in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment, with opportunities to shape the digital backbone of outdoor advertising.

Responsibilities

• Document and implement digital infrastructure in line with designs and standards
• Own third-line incidents to resolution, coordinating with external suppliers when needed
• Raise, plan, and review changes; coordinate deployments with project and on-site teams
• Provide technical support to first-line teams during live incidents and deployments, with clear documentation
• Lead or participate in out-of-hours installations and operational activities

Key requirements

• Windows desktop and server environments
• Linux operating systems
• DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), IIS or Apache
• PowerShell scripting for remote diagnosis and issue resolution
• Experience delivering technical solutions and small/medium projects
• IT service management in ITIL-aligned environments (incident, problem, change)
• Experience with digital advertising, digital signage, or content management platforms in live environments
• Collaborative work style with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Continuous learning mindset
• Beneficial: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications, Level 3 IT qualification
