Sr Project Manager, Fast Trak Scientific Excellence

Overview

In this role you drive cross-functional innovation projects within Cytiva’s Fast Trak Scientific Excellence portfolio, guiding early specs through design to testing and publication. You’ll partner with product management, QA, operations and other teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes. You’ll continuously seek process improvements to accelerate impact and help deliver life-saving solutions. This role offers meaningful work at the forefront of bioprocessing and life sciences, with strong alignment to the Danaher Business System.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to execute innovation projects
• Collaborate with product management, subject matter experts, Fast Trak scientists, QA, operations, marketing, sourcing and legal to ensure seamless task execution
• Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team performance
• Create and own the project schedule and manage timelines, resources and budgets for on-time delivery
• Run regular project meetings with assigned actions and timely completion
• Track and report project risks and issues, delivering mitigation plans as needed
• Identify stakeholders, provide regular updates, and align with Senior Stakeholders on goals and status
• Work with Danaher Business System project management tools

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, engineering, biotechnology or related field
• Working knowledge of downstream bioprocessing / protein purification
• Multiple years of project management experience in a matrixed environment, preferably in NPD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across levels
• Strong leadership and solution-driven mindset in fast-paced settings
