Core Ops – Account Enablement Analyst

Overview

In this role you help enable Capital Group’s growth by ensuring operational readiness for new accounts, products, and trading capabilities. You work across multiple functions to coordinate onboarding, market readiness, and trading system setup, while driving scalable, controlled processes. You’ll tackle operational challenges with curiosity and a focus on improving efficiency and risk management. Responsibilities

• Support onboarding for new accounts, mandates, and products including derivatives and related capabilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, risks, and readiness for onboarding
• Coordinate readiness activities across stakeholders to enable successful implementation
• Assist with account funding, setup, maintenance, and lifecycle events
• Support trading system onboarding, derivatives onboarding, and collateral account readiness
• Coordinate testing and validation of system changes and onboarding requirements
• Ensure systems, controls, and documentation are accurate and up-to-date
• Support market opening and maintenance activities across global markets
• Coordinate with custodians, brokers, and internal teams on operational requirements
• Maintain market documentation, settlement instructions, and supporting records
• Assist with broker onboarding and readiness activities
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve market access and readiness issues
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions
• Gather data to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and enhance scalability
• Support automation and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to onboarding process improvements and scalable operating models
• Challenge existing processes to simplify and automate while maintaining controls
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate across regions and functions to deliver client-focused outcomes
• Support cross-training and team development

Key requirements

• Experience in investment operations or related operational functions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and navigate ambiguity
• Effective stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and sound judgment
• Curiosity and continuous improvement mindset
• Experience with operational readiness, onboarding, market enablement, trading operations, or automation (beneficial)
