Senior Consulting Manager

Overview

In this role, you will lead client engagements in IDC’s Customs Solutions group, steering custom market research projects from inception to delivery. You’ll coordinate with analysts, sales, and external contributors to produce high-quality insights that drive customer outcomes. You’ll manage client communications, milestones, and project budgets, ensuring timely, accurate deliverables and a strong customer experience. Responsibilities

• Manage client engagements and project deliverables to meet specifications and timelines
• Oversee quality assurance across all engagement stages (accuracy checks, data quality)
• Steer content creation and narrative development with analyst teams
• Review and discuss deliverables with analysts to ensure impact and quality
• Set and monitor workplans, meetings, and internal/external communications
• Manage project budgets, revenue/expense recognition, and competing priorities
• Coordinate with internal and external contributors to drive project success

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5-8 years in client service and project management
• Knowledge of ICT market and market research methodologies (qualitative/quantitative)
• Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and writing abilities; comfortable presenting to senior audiences
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• PMP certification a plus
• Travel <10%
