FaceSwap Artist – all levels – London Studio

Overview

As a FaceSwap Artist, you will pioneer ML-based face replacement work in a growing VFX domain. You will blend artistry with technical ML workflows to produce photorealistic results and support model evaluation. You’ll collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to push the realism and reliability of facial replacements. This role offers hands-on experimentation, dataset preparation, and pipeline improvements in a cutting-edge space with a clear impact on project quality and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Apply deep learning based technologies to create photorealistic images using open source tools and in-house software
• Create templates to facilitate model evaluation
• Monitor training progress, assess quality and adjust training configurations as needed
• Prepare and curate datasets for model training from diverse sources
• Use trained models to perform faceswaps in shot context and produce slap comps for dailies

Key requirements

• Experience in visual effects or CG industry
• Curious, eager to learn, and enjoy experimentation
• Flexible, adaptable to changing workflows, detail-oriented
• Working knowledge of Nuke to prepare precomps and slap comps
• Some experience with CG compositing
• Comfortable with command-line tools
• Interested in or familiar with deep neural networks
• Familiarity with ComfyUI and other GenAI tools
