MedMatch Vets is recruiting an experienced Night Veterinary Surgeon for a purpose-built, 24/7 small animal hospital near Newcastle-under-Lyme. It’s a teaching-focused hospital with an in-house referral team, modern theatres and advanced imaging. You’ll have real clinical independence, with specialists on hand when you need them.

The role

• Consults, OOH diagnostic work-ups and surgery on a busy night caseload
• The hospital provides OOH cover for other local practices, so expect a high caseload and plenty of variety

About you

• An experienced small animal vet, ideally from a hospital or busy first-opinion practice
• Confident in surgery and in making independent clinical decisions from day one
• Emergency care experience desirable; a certificate is an advantage but not essential
• Please note this role isn’t suitable for new graduates
