Overview

Apple A Day is seeking Teaching Assistants to support classrooms and individual pupils across Wiltshire and BANES in EYFS and KS1–2. You will work across mainstream and specialist settings, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, daily, short- and long-term placements. You will collaborate with schools to meet diverse learning needs and uphold safeguarding standards. This role offers varied environments, professional development, and the chance to contribute to children’s learning journeys.

Responsibilities

• Support whole-class and 1:1 learning across EYFS and KS1–2
• Assist in both mainstream and specialist settings
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
• Engage pupils with creativity and enthusiasm to support learning
• Monitor progress and communicate with supervising teachers
• Support safeguarding and student well-being during activities
• Coordinate with schools and recruiters to align placements with skills
• Assist with classroom management and routine oversight
