VAT Senior Manager

Overview

In this role you will provide expert UK VAT guidance to a diverse client portfolio and help grow the firm’s VAT services from London. You will work closely with partners and lead a small VAT team, while supporting cross-service lines and regional/national marketing efforts. The role offers a clear path to senior leadership, including director or partnership for the right candidate. You will shape VAT advisory delivery for clients across sectors and contribute to the firm’s growth and reputation.

Responsibilities

• Provide VAT advice on corporate matters across various industries
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships as a key advisor
• Offer VAT support to other service lines (outsourced tax and accounting)
• Lead marketing and business development to raise VAT service visibility regionally and nationally
• Manage and develop junior staff with potential for expansion of the VAT team

Key requirements

• Experienced UK VAT generalist with strong corporate VAT knowledge
• Proven client-facing experience and ability to nurture relationships
• Marketing and business development experience to promote VAT services
• Strong leadership and people development skills
• Experience across property, construction, retail, manufacturing, and tech & media is beneficial
