Digital Construction Manager

Overview

In this role you drive digital construction adoption across projects, aligning BIM strategies with project delivery. You will collaborate with design, commercial and site teams to implement ISO 19650 workflows, and manage information to improve efficiency. You’ll champion CDE use and digital tools, delivering measurable improvements in delivery speed and quality. This is a hands-on, cross-functional leadership role at a forward-thinking construction firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead digital construction and BIM strategy implementation across projects
• Manage project information per client requirements and ISO 19650
• Support adoption and effective use of digital tools and processes
• Oversee Common Data Environments and information workflows
• Coordinate digital construction activities across design, commercial and site delivery teams
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in digital project delivery
• Provide training and guidance on digital construction best practice
• Engage with clients and consultants to meet project digital requirements

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Digital Construction Manager, BIM Manager or similar in construction
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, information management and ISO 19650
• Experience with Common Data Environments and digital platforms
• Experience delivering digital construction on medium to large projects
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to influence teams and drive adoption of digital ways of working
• Proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
• Relevant qualifications in construction, digital construction or information management are desirable
