Overview

In this placement, you join the IT Infrastructure team to gain hands-on experience across networking, communications and workplace endpoints within a global automotive leader. You’ll support internal customers, contribute to IT projects, and learn from experienced professionals while exploring AI and digital technologies. The role offers real responsibilities from day one and opportunities to shape digital solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing context. You will build cross-functional relationships and develop in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the infrastructure team and support all team members
• Provide support and assistance to internal customers
• Be responsible for the IT intranet pages
• Gain knowledge across IT infrastructure areas (Networking, Communications and Workplace End Devices)
• Assist with raising purchase orders and liaise with suppliers as required

Key requirements

• Studying an IT, Business or Engineering related degree
• working towards a 2:2 or higher
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
