QHSE Manager

Overview

As QHSE Manager you will oversee the PD&MS Group’s safety, quality, and environmental systems to meet and exceed applicable standards. You will lead the QHSE function across the Group and ensure consistent performance through audits, improvements, and professional guidance. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement, incident learning, and compliance across onshore and offshore sites. This role offers scope to shape the Integrated Management System and elevate QHSE across multiple contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QHSE function across PD&MS Group and affiliates
• Promote a QHSE mindset and continuous improvement across the group
• Provide QHSE advisory support to Company, Clients and Vendors
• Develop and implement improvement plans and performance metrics
• Manage internal and external QHSE audits and supplier/vendor audits
• Oversee incident investigations and ensure lessons learned are shared
• Maintain and evolve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
• Coordinate with onshore/offshore personnel to support QHSE needs
• Ensure timely reporting of QHSE statistics and KPI data
• Develop procedures and document control related to QHSE
• Support tenders/pre-qualifications with QHSE input
• Lead staff development and competency assessments
• Lead by example and ensure adherence to QHSE policies
• Challenge unsafe activities and maintain best practice standards

Key requirements

• Significant demonstrable experience in a similar QHSE leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of QHSE legislation, codes and standards
• Experience in developing and maintaining an Integrated Management System
• Offshore/site-based work experience
• IRCA Lead Auditor certification (or equivalent) and NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety
• BSc or equivalent in engineering or science
• Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET/MIST/MEDICAL)
• Excellent written and spoken English
